A great place with great food. Wings were perfect. Lemon Pepper & Caribbean Jerk. Wifey had a pizza & I had a Steak Calzone both excellent. But the best thing i had was the HUGE BOWL of Rigitoni Sausage Soup. Great flavorful comfort food on a wintery day. 5/5 85.00 with tip The Mad Italian, You have been #tonguetested

Took a very random visit to The Mad Italian, my husband and I entered kind of tired out with a 5 and 3 year old. The entire staff was so courteous to us and helpful. I believe ms Audrianna was one of the servers names, she treated is like long lost relatives she missed seeing. Great variety of food for adults and the kiddos. Great portions for the pricing. They also have a full bar. I was told theyve been in the area over a decade, and I witnessed how before my very eyes! Definitely a family fav now

Very good vibe in this place! They're so friendly and make you feel comfortable. I had the cheese steak. The meat and cheese are just okay, but the bread is underwhelming. Their special dipping sauce that came with the chips was delicious though! I would recommend the place but just know the cheese steak is a little over hyped

Growing up in the Atlanta area, I never made it to The Mad Italian. Until twice recently. Once a few months back with a friend. Another with a large group. On a weeknight, we were able to get in no problem and get our food delivered on time and on the taste scale, mighty darn tasty. On a Sunday afternoon, I had booked a group of us and had spoken to the manager. For whatever reason, when we arrived at the time we said we would, the table was not quite available. Apparently there was some miscommunication in which private area we were to sit in. There was fairly quick turnaround in getting us into the room. Then there was the wait. Mind you, we were competing with football and the Sunday lunch crowds. To our waitress’s credit, she had a lot to handle. We had 30+ people. Most of us fared pretty well in enjoying our drinks and company. Some of us were hungrier than others. I did try at one point to get a second server to help. But then once our server finished up her larger tables, she swooped in fast as she could like a superhero and did a power speed order to keep some of us who were getting a little hangry still happy and those of us who were already happy, happier. We still waited. And just when it felt like we couldn’t wait anymore? The food came out. We saw. We ate. We conquered our appetites. And our party enjoyed each other’s company. People all seemed not mad at all, only quite glad at the Italian food they had ordered and eaten. There was hardly a leftover left over. Everyone was truly full and then some. I cannot speak for everyone’s orders, but we had a scrumptious lasagna that would do Garfield proud. If you want my honest review, I rank it 4.5 Stars. Google does not allow half stars. The math for the Mad Italian rounds that up to a 5. I suppose if you have to have problems, being busy isn’t a bad one. And maybe they were a little short-staffed that Sunday? Anyhoo, Maybe between my 4.5 and the Google 5, it’s really a 4.75? That’s not something to be mad about at all…

It took me 11 years to come here since I moved to Dunwoody because I didn't think much of it, but man I missed out on 11 years of good eats. We ordered the Meats Calzone, the Pastalaya and the kids cheese pizza and everything was so good. The calzone was the right amount of meat and cheesiness. It come with marinara sauce but I asked for their diavolo sauce which was the right amount of spicy and delicious. I had the Pastalaya and it was so good. I was worried because it is their take on Jambalaya, but it was a wonderful burst of flavor. It's pasta with a mix of their Alfredo sauce and diavolo sauce, which is their spicy marinara. It has chicken, sausage and shrimp. My kids got the kids' chicken tenders and kids' cheese pizza. My 5 year old finished all four slices of the pizza. The chicken tenders comes with 2 strips and tater tots. Keep doing what're doing Mad Italian. The food was wonderful!

Most of you have passed this place without know how much of a jewel it is. You have to try the cheesesteak and pasta lasagna. While you are there… ask for IslandJon Vodka.
